Victims click these links and are presented with a form requesting bank account numbers, credit card numbers, credentials, and other types of data that can be used in identity theft crimes.
Phishers also create websites that look very similar to legitimate sites and lure victims to them through e-mail messages and other websites to gain the same type of information.
QNB Life Insurance does not collect private client information or confidential user data via emails or SMS. QNB Life Insurance does not send any URL in emails or SMS to clients. Also, QNB Life Insurance website does not require any user credentials. Accordingly, DO NOT open any link requesting such information in the email which if clicked sends the client to a fake website that requests confidential information. Do NOT respond to these emails or SMS. They should be simply deleted.
