QNB Life Insurance has proudly sponsored the 7th edition of the Insurers Federation of Egypt Marathon. The event took place on the morning of Friday, May 22, 2026, at the El-Gezira Youth Center in Zamalek, where the company sponsored and provided the official t-shirts for all marathon participants.
Held under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), the event ran under the slogan " We Run For Tomorrow… We Insure So We Never Start Over." It saw widespread participation, drawing over 3,500 participants, including insurance sector employees and sports enthusiasts of all ages.
The event was attended by Dr. Mohamed Farid, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, and Mr. Alaa El-Zoheiry, Chairman of the Insurers Federation of Egypt, alongside senior leadership from the federation and representatives from various companies operating in the Egyptian insurance market.
The day kicked off with high-energy warm-up sessions, including CrossFit competitions and field-side sports activities, right before the official launch of the marathon. The kickoff was marked by the presence of the Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, the Chairman of the Insurers Federation of Egypt, and the Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority.
This year's edition also featured a series of awareness lectures organized in cooperation with the Egyptian Cardiovascular Society, the Egyptian Anti-Doping Organization (EGY-NADO), and the Baheya Foundation, aiming to boost health and fitness awareness among participants. As part of the entertainment lineup, an exhibition football match was held, bringing together a stellar group of veteran stars from Al-Ahly and El-Zamalek clubs.
In recognition of QNB Life Insurance's continuous support, the Insurers Federation of Egypt presented the company with a recognition trophy. The trophy was received on behalf of the company by Mr. Ahmed Nofal, Commercial Director. This recognition underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to promoting physical health, enhancing quality of life, and fostering a spirit of impactful community engagement.
